Don't Be Deceived
Today there are more distractions than ever to keep us from focusing on Jesus and the things of God.
In these last days, men have truly become "lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God" (2 Timothy 3:2-4) and the devil is using these distractions to deceive and destroy people.
Take Heed To Jesus' Warnings
Jesus warned us that in the last days there would be a great falling away from the faith and that many would be deceived by false teachers and false doctrines (see Matthew 24:4-5).
He also warned us to be on our guard against deception and to be discerning of the times (see Matthew 24:23-25).
Now Is The Time To Wake Up
In Romans 13:11-14, the Apostle Paul expresses the following urgency:
11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out
of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast
off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and
drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife
and envying.
14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision
for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
The whole of creation is groaning, waiting for the sons of God to appear (see Romans 8:21-22).
It's Time To Take Responsibility
Christianity is not a spectator sport.
As disciples, we are called to be imitators of Christ and to be actively involved in the work of the Kingdom of God.
In these last days it is more important than ever that we take responsibility for our own spiritual growth and for the work of the Kingdom of God.
Now are we the sons of God and now is the time for us to manifest!
It's Time To Shine In The Darkness
The world is growing darker and more evil by the day. As disciples, we are called to be the light of the world and to shine in the darkness (see Matthew 5:14-16).
Signs and wonders are to follow believers and many will be saved as a result of the light that shines from us (see Mark 16:15-18) if we dare to step out and manifest Jesus to the world.
People were astonished by the works of Jesus and the Apostles and we have the same power dwelling in us, waiting to bring glory to our Heavenly Father.
We Were Pre-Ordained For Good Works
We were created in Christ Jesus for good works which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them (see Ephesians 2:10).
Let's not waste our lives on the things of this world but let's step out in faith and live out the purpose for which we were created!
